Discover our Morocco Tours

Join one of our Morocco adventure tours and uncover the contrasts of hectic souks and the silence of the Sahara at dawn. Our small group tours to Morocco include iconic highlights such as the street food and marketplaces of Marrakech and walks in the High Atlas Mountains. But we also reveal hidden gems, from dining with local Berber families in remote villages to sleeping under the stars in a desert camp.

In the company of an expert local leader, you could learn to surf off the Atlantic coast on a family adventure, bike through Berber villages on a Morocco cycling tour, or challenge yourself trekking to Mount Toubkal.

To immerse yourself fully in Morocco’s heritage, we also feature characterful accommodation. Stretch out on the terrace of a premium family-run hotel in Rabat and stay in elegant riads in Chefchaouen, Fes and Marrakech. There’s even time to relax at a spa and wellness centre – the perfect balance of culture and comfort.

Taste your way through Morocco on a medina tasting trail, visit a vineyard to sample local Moroccan wine and enjoy a three-course homecooked meal in Chefchaouen on our Taste of Morocco food tour.

Morocco Tour Highlights:

Our selection of small group holidays to Morocco will take you from the bustling souks of the imperial cities of Marrakech and Fes to the remote jagged peaks of the Atlas Mountains, the vast wilderness of the Sahara Desert, and the windswept Atlantic beaches of Essaouira. Here are some of our Morocco Tour highlights:

1. Marrakech

Join our Best of Morocco Tour and immerse yourself in the hustle and bustle of the imperial ‘red city’. Explore the walled medina, wander through colourful souks and feel the energy of the Djemaa el-Fnaa. Watch storytellers, browse craft stalls and taste Moroccan food like couscous, harira soup and merguez sausage served from street vendors. Don’t miss architectural treasures such as the Koutoubia Mosque and the intricate Saadian tombs.

2. Essaouira

A favourite stop on many Morocco Family Adventure, Essaouira combines laid-back charm with coastal energy. Whitewashed buildings rise behind ancient medina walls, while fishing boats bob in the busy port. Stroll along narrow alleyways filled with craft shops, climb the ramparts for views of the old town, or try surfing on the Atlantic waves. Families can enjoy camel rides on the golden beach at sunset – a magical highlight of our Morocco family adventures.

3. Atlas Mountains

The Atlas Mountains are a standout on any Morocco group tour. Hike to Jebel Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa, on our trekking adventures, or walk from the foothills to the Atlantic coast on our Atlas to Atlantic Morocco Walking Tour. Traditional Berber villages dotted among the valleys offer a glimpse into an ancient way of life. Share lunch with a local family and experience genuine Berber hospitality, far from the bustle of the cities.

4. Fes

The medieval medina of Fes is a maze of alleyways lined with artisan workshops and food stalls. Watch coppersmiths, weavers and tanners at work, and barter with traders for unique souvenirs. Ornate mosques and shrines such as the Karaouine Mosque and Al Andalus Mosque showcase exquisite tilework, carvings and marble arches. On our Best of Morocco Discovery Tour, you’ll uncover why Fes is one of Morocco’s most fascinating imperial cities.

5. Family Holidays in Morocco

A Morocco adventure holiday is perfect for families. Ride mules in the Atlas Mountains, explore the dunes of the Sahara Desert by camel and sleep in a traditional Berber tent under the stars. In Marrakech, children can navigate bustling souks, while Essaouira’s beaches offer the chance to surf and play by the ocean. Our family Morocco tours balance excitement with cultural discovery.

Frequently asked questions about Morocco:

When is the best time to visit Morocco?
Morocco is a year-round destination, but spring and autumn are the most popular seasons, with comfortable temperatures for exploring. From June to September, you’ll enjoy quieter trails in the Middle Atlas Mountains, while dawn camel treks in the Sahara help avoid the midday heat. Winter brings a peaceful atmosphere to the souks of Fes, although the Toubkal trails are often snow-covered between November and January.
