When to travel?
The most popular time to visit Egypt is from October to May. Nights will be cool and most days warm and sunny, although in December and January daytime temperatures can be cool. In the summer months temperatures can reach over 40 degrees Celsius but planning your day effectively can mean avoiding crowds and enjoying a less crowded visit to some of the most popular sites in the world. Temperatures in the desert can vary between day and night, being very hot during the day but much cooler once the sun goes down.
