How was your Explore Tour Leader?

Our tour leader John was calm informative and kept us on track with all the puplic transport we used. He had a very sound knowledge of the areas we visited. He gave us advice where required and introduced us to lots of beautiful sights in Thailand

What tips would you give to someone else booking this tour?

Don't over pack (plenty of places to get your clothes laundered at a very reasonable cost 50Baht for 20kgs if you look hard enough, they come back ironed and beautifully laundered). Beaware you will get your feet wet when trekking in the streams up in the hilltribe. There is quite a lot of travelling on public transport but that means you get to see a lot of Thailand.Take some simple gifts for the hill tribe children, they loved the glow in the dark bracelets and pens and paper.

It was our first venture outside Europe and it was an excellent introduction to Thailand, probably less walking than we have been used to.
