Yes, we did this trip several years ago and I've just completed my 17th trip but I had to write a review because it remains the best trip we have done so far. Namibia is a stunning country. The sense of space is something I'd never come across before. The camping may have been far from luxurious but it was great fun and the group bonded so well.

Memories include our wonderful cook managing to prepare one of his delicious meals in the midst of one of the most ferocious thunder storms I've ever seen (a danger if you go in January), playing rounders with sausage tree bats and our driver finding us two leopards in one day in Moremi. And then there were the seals jumping aboard the boats in Swakopmund, flying over the dunes at sunrise-the list is endless. Book now!!! (NB -1st January 2005)

Wow! This is an amazing trip with so many highlights it is difficult to know where to begin. From the dunes of Sossussvlei to the game viewing in Etosha and the Okavango this trip covers so much. The trip started at the dunes of the Namib Desert. An amazing place. This was followed by a drive to Swakopmund where the apple pie at Solitaire can be highly recommended. Swakopmund is a lovely town and the dolphin trip with levo tours was a great morning out. Where else can you have seals entering the boat and sitting on your lap following by a few hours later gazing at the seals colonies while drinking wine!   Personal highlights for me had to be the game viewing. Etosha has a rich variety of game and 4 of the big 5. Within half an hour of entering the park we had seen elephant, giraffe, zebra, oryx, impala nad springbok. The evenings in Etosha were spent gazing over beautiful water holes watching the wildlife. I was lucky enough to see a mother and baby rhino quite close up. Then we set of for Botswana stopping at Ngepi, a quirky and relaxing campsite. Has to be seen to be believed. The flight over the Okavango is a must and the only way to get a true perspective of the delta. I even managed to spot some wildlife from the flight! Wildlife spotting continued in the delta where we had an encounter with a cheetah as well as more elephants, hippos and giraffes. Then it was back to Windhoek via the Kalahari and the chance to do an early morning walk with the San Bushman. A fascinating experience. All to quickly the trip was over and I was heading to the airport for the flight home. All in all it was a great trip, well run by a fantastic crew who looked after us extremely well and a great group of people to travel with. An experience I will never forget and one I can not recommend highly enough! (NB- July 22nd 2010)
