This was an excellent and hectic three week trip. The combination of the activity based time in the Sinai including walking up Mount Sinai, 4x4 in the desert and snorkelling in the Red Sea, combined really well with the more traditional time on the Nile and the different experience of going out into the Western Desert oases. The days on the felucca came at a good time in the trip and allowed for some, by then, much needed rest! With each different phase of the holiday came different sorts of people to get to know and to share the experiences with. This was a truly amazing holiday that packed an awful lot into three weeks and required some stamina (or being well rested before you go away!) to get the most from it as it involves a lot of travelling and activities and early starts.
