How was your Explore Tour Leader?

We had 3 our first Abhisher Chordia was the best but had to leave whilst camping on the Ganges as his grand father was taken ill. Raj who looked ofter us on the South India part of the tour was good as well.

What tips would you give to someone else booking this tour?

If you are booking then 32 days is a long time but the tour is very varied. Travel on the Indian night trains means 6 berths to a conpartment and you may have to share with fellow Indian travellers. But this should be part of the experance, take a sleeping bag liner and get in fully dressed. You can't take 32 days worth of cloths, take one weeks worth and wash and go. Keep any small change you get and it's not all curries.

"By not having a Tour Coach, you use local transport,Tuk Tuk's, cycle rickshaws, etc.
This means more families have money coming in. You have to people watch, local Indian Trains aways have room for one more!!"
