Explore is once again venturing into somewhere new, and this time it’s into the world of postgraduate study.

What can happen in 12 months?  They say that 2011 was the year with the greatest number of Global changes or events in memory. 

 

On 31 May Ashley Toft - Explore’s Managing Director – is embarking on an epic  cycle ride from "End to End' of the United Kingdom going from Land’s End to John O’Groats to raise awareness and funds for the charity Bipolar UK.

We have come a long way since launching in 1981 with just six tours in a four-page brochure. However, our pioneering spirit remains and we are always pushing the boundaries with the trips that we offer and the places that we visit.

Light on your pocket but not on great experiences; these fun and flexible adventures let you decide how much to spend on activities, destinations and food. You travel mainly on public transport and stay in simpler hotels. All for much less than you’d expect.

Not only do shared experiences create lasting friendships, but the world is full of people just waiting to welcome you into their country and community.

 

This year look beyond the familiar and open your eyes to adventures that let you discover the world - and yourself - differently.

There have been a couple of occasions in the Explore office when Operations Manager Rohan Prakesh has treated everyone to some of his famous cooking. His creations are so good that we thought it only fair to share one of the recipes with you.

September 18th is Chilean Independence Day and to celebrate Explore PR Officer Stella Brown is sharing one of her favourite Chilean recipes with you - the humita.
