Climate change

Current IPCC advice tells us that, by 2030, we need to cut global carbon emissions to at least 55% below what they were in 2017, to keep the planet within 1.5 degrees of warming. As an adventure travel company, reliant on customers flying around the world, we are fully aware of the responsibility of the tourism industry in climate change and the changes that must happen.

Explore have declared a climate emergency, standing alongside a collective of travel companies we will come together to find solutions. We have publicly accepted our responsibility around climate change, we offer complete transparency around our strategies and we are committed to driving change.

We have developed our comprehensive climate action plan; we are actively reducing our carbon footprint in our office and overseas through our supply chain, we are supporting rewilding initiatives, we continue to protect existing ancient rainforest with our partners Cool Earth and finally we are investing in leading carbon removal technologies with our partner Klimate
