Explore the trails of Spain's unspoilt UNESCO Heritage Reserve Sierra de Aracena on this relaxed walking trip through rural Andalucia. The pretty 'white village' of Castano de Robledo is set amid a verdant and rolling landscape of hills and forests of cork, oak and chestnut trees. From our traditional village house we take scenic village to village walks along ancient drover routes, and hike up Cerro San Cristobal for spectacular views over the surrounding area. We also learn about the local food and sample the delicious regional cuisine.
From our small, traditional hotel in the village of Canillas de Albaida, we explore an ancient network of trails linking picturesque white-washed Moorish villages through an Andalucian landscape of vineyards, olive groves and mountains. We hike along parts of an old 'Silk Route' and have the opportunity to visit the spectacular Alhambra Palace in Granada. In the evenings we can sample some of the delicious local food and sweet wine.

This one-week walking tour in the High Atlas culminates in the ascent of North Africa's highest peak, Jebel Toubkal (4167m). We begin in the valley of Imlil, trekking through juniper forests, past Berber villages and over passes, climbing steadily to a refuge at Neltner. From Neltner we set out to nearby peaks including Toubkal, a rewarding climb with views of the whole Atlas chain.
