With the Tour de France getting underway, now is a great time to dust off your cycling helmet and head off on your own cycling holiday.

We have two cycling trips that are in the south-west region of Carcassonne, that touch on this year’s route of the Tour de France;

Cycle along Canal du Midi

This 8-day trip takes you along the beautiful tree-lined path of Canal du Midi, from ancient Roman cities to the shores of the Mediterranean coast. Take a leisurely ride on this ‘easy’ graded trip through the natural beauty of the Corbières area.

Cycling tour in South West France

Enjoy a week of superb cycling around the Cathar Castles. For more experienced cyclists, you’ll cover an average of 65km per day. The cycle routes are varied and take you into the Pyrenean foothills and along the Vermillion Coast – not forgetting to stop off to sample the local French wine and delicacies!
