10. Inca Trail Trek

A special highlight is on the last day of the trip when you'll return to Machu Picchu and enjoy a guided tour of the historic ruins.

11. Japan In Depth - Footsteps of the Shogun

Learn all about samurai history, stay in a traditional ryokan and simmer in bubbling hot springs on this immersive Japan in Depth - Footsteps of the Shogun tour. You'll cover old, new and everything in between when it comes to this appealing destination. This 12-day trip also visits Kyushu Island, where plenty of highlights (that many typically miss) include Nagasaki, Hirado and Fukuoka. 

 

Solo travelers will bond over lunch at a tea farmer's house. Not only will you learn about the farmers' way of life and pass through the scenic tea plantations, but you'll also sample some of the brews like green sencha and roasted hojicha.
