2. Hike the Camino de Santiago
Follow the world-famous pilgrimage route from Leon to the shrine of Saint James in the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela on our Camino de Santiago Hiking Tour. This moderate hiking trip covers over 71 miles in eight days as we follow the Camino Frances trail through green countryside, rural farmland and medieval villages.
Climb into the mountains for panoramic views from the Iron Cross, the highest point on the route, and explore the pretty cobbled streets of O Cebreiro, a village known for its round stone-thatched houses and far-reaching views over the green valleys below. Feel an incredible sense of achievement as your final destination comes into sight, before heading into the historic city of Santiago de Compostela to claim your pilgrim’s certificate and feast on delicious Spanish tapas to celebrate. 3. Bike through Murcia
Looking for a more active way to explore Spain? Our Southern Spain Biking Tour carries you through the sunbaked plains and timeless whitewashed villages of Murcia on two wheels. Join this tour in February to see the almond and apricot blossoms in full bloom, transforming the valleys into a sea of pink and white flowers. All of our biking tours include the rental of a bike, with e-bikes available if preferred.
4. Canyoning in the Pyrenees
Get the family set for a wild adventure in the Spanish Pyrenees on our Family Pyrenees Multi-Activity Adventure. Tackle the thrilling rapids of the Noguera River, swim in the calm waters of Collegats Canyon, and if you’re brave enough, rappel down the rugged cliffs in Estaron. Scramble along riverbanks, slide over smooth boulders on a canyoning adventure, or hold on tight to a hydrospeed board as you ride swirling rapids and pools. Stay on dry land for a day of mountain biking through the Montgarri Valley or horseback riding through the countryside, before unwinding by the pool at the family-run spa hotel.
