Generally, that is the case. Our trip leaders are chosen for their first-hand knowledge of your destination and a passion to make your trip extraordinary.
Generally, the minimum age is 16 however this can depend on the trip. We find a real mix of ages, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s and even 70s. Our sales team can give you the approximate age range of anybody booked onto each departure before you book.
On our 14 day - Simply Japan tour, the tea ceremony is optional and most people book this in Kyoto. Your tour leader will be able to help organise this for you.
It's a real mix. We recommend taking a good read through our trip notes or getting in touch with our team directly to see what's included and what we list is optional.
We have lots of solos travelling with us - typically around half of each of each group. You can choose to share with another traveller of the same sex, or you can have your own single room for the duration. There's a single supplement to pay, which is outlined on the trip page along with the trip price.
I would say just booking well in advance but depending on where you live, some airlines run some fantastic deals from time to time!
Tours in our Upgraded collection will typically use 4-star, rather than 3-star properties offering just that little bit more comfort when it comes to your accommodation and facilities. These new tours also feature a special welcome meal and includes (at least) one real stand-out experience or activity that brings your trip to life
We absolutely do! The customer service team can always check the ages of people on the tours you are interested in as well to help you decide if it is suitable for you.
