Recommend a friend and save on your next trip

Our ‘Recommend a Friend’ scheme rewards our loyal customers for sharing the news about Explore with friends and family. 

Have you traveled on at least one Explore trip? If you know someone who would enjoy our trips just as much as you have, then why not introduce them to Explore? If your friends book a trip, as a thank you for recommending us, we’ll give you a $300 credit* towards your next trip. This is uncapped and you can use all your credit together to use against your next Explore trip. 

All you have to do is ask your friend(s) when they book their first trip with us to quote ‘REFER’ along with your unique reference number. And as a little thank you to them, when they do, they will save $300* per person on their first Explore adventure as well.

Key Benefits:

1. Definitions 

  • Recommender: An existing Explore customer who has previously travelled with Explore and refers others under this programme.  

  • Referred Customer: A new customer who has never booked with Explore before and is referred by a Recommender.  

  • Qualifying Booking: A booking made directly with Explore or via a travel agent where the promo code is applied and all requirements are met.  

  • Currency Equivalents: Fixed discount values applicable in different markets.  

 

2. Eligibility 

  • Recommenders must have previously travelled on an Explore trip.  

  • Recommenders can refer friends for up to 12 months after their travel date.  

  • Referred Customers must be first-time Explore travellers.  

  • Referred Customers must provide:  

  • The Recommender’s unique SMC number  

  • Promo code “REFER” at the time of booking  

  • Employees, agents, contractors, or affiliates of Explore are not eligible.  

 

3. Offer Details 

  • The Referred Customer receives $300 (or fixed currency equivalent) discount per person on a qualifying booking.  

  • The Recommender receives $300 (or fixed currency equivalent) credit per person on a future booking for each successful referral.  

  • Recommender credit is issued once the referred booking is confirmed.  

 

4. How the Promotion Works 

  • Referred Customers must book using:  

  • Promo code “REFER”  

  • The Recommender’s SMC number  

 

  • The Referred Customer’s discount is applied at booking and shown in confirmation.  

  • A $300 (or fixed currency equivalent) credit will be added to the Recommender’s account upon confirmation of the referred customer’s booking and may be redeemed against new bookings. 

 

5. Discount and credits Conditions 

  • Recommender discounts and referred credits apply per person, not per booking.  

  • Recommender discounts and referred credits Are non-transferable  

  • Have no cash value  

  • Cannot be applied to existing bookings  

  • Cannot be used for Private Tours or Exclusive Groups  

  • Valid only on new bookings made directly with Explore or via a travel agent.  

 

6. Booking & Privacy 

  • All bookings are subject to Explore’s standard Booking Conditions.  

  • Personal data will be handled in accordance with Explore’s Privacy Policy.  
     

7. Limitations and Liability 

  • Explore reserves the right to verify eligibility at any time.  

  • The offer may be withdrawn, amended, or suspended without notice (this will not affect confirmed bookings).  

  • No discounts will be given for:  

  • Fraudulent referrals  

  • Self-referrals  

  • Duplicate or ineligible bookings  

 

8. Governing Law 

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
