Explore Worldwide is thrilled to announce it is launching its first-ever FAM trip for the North American market. Having solicited feedback over the past year, we know how valuable these trips are for developing knowledge and experience with industry partners. This summer we’ll be taking ten advisors on a 7-day journey across the cities, deserts and mountains of Morocco. 
 

There are so many elements of this trip that speak to the Explore travel experience, offering a memorable itinerary that covers the full variety of our trip styles and accommodations, all the while supported by expert tour leaders. 
 

This will be a valuable opportunity to see how Explore operates, and we invite both long-standing and new partners to take part. Whether you’re a seasoned pro in selling adventure travel looking to update your knowledge on our travel style or a new advisor with a focused interest in small-group adventures, this represents an opportunity to build exposure to our unique travel format.

How can I take part on this FAM trip to Morocco?

Registration is open to all accredited North American travel advisors.

• Trek through the wild, rugged landscapes around Tighza, following mountain trails and taking in sweeping views far from the well-trodden path 
• Step into history at the UNESCO-listed Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou, wandering its earthen alleyways and ancient ramparts 
• Cycle from Aït Ben Haddou towards the palm-fringed Draa Valley and on to Ouarzazate, riding through cinematic desert scenery and ever-changing light 
• Sway gently atop a camel as you cross golden Sahara dunes, arriving at camp as the sun dips below the horizon 
• Spend an unforgettable night in the desert, sharing stories over dinner and sleeping beneath a canopy of brilliant stars 
• Explore Tamgroute, discovering its spiritual legacy and meeting local artisans known for their distinctive green pottery 
• Dive into the rhythm of Marrakech on a guided exploration of the medina, culminating in a visit to the ornate Bahia Palace 
• Follow the aromas of spice and charcoal through Marrakech’s backstreets on a flavour-filled food adventure, sampling the city’s most beloved dishes

Any and all accredited North American travel advisors, whether you’ve previously worked with Explore or not.

Initial selections will be announced by April 7th, 2026.

You will need to confirm your reservation with us by April 17th, 2026.

There is a non-refundable fee of $209 USD / $279 CAD to attend.

The non-refundable fee and passport details must be received no later than April 24th, 2025, otherwise you will lose your spot on the FAM. You can call in to our sales team to confirm your booking at 1-888-838-1393.

The trip is designed to showcase different formats of Explore trip accommodations. Our nights in Marrakech will be on a twin-share basis, other hotels in between will be solo, and the desert camp will be its own unique shared experience.

Please be aware that airfare is not included. Travel insurance is required for travel and is not included. While regular meals and water will be provided throughout the trip, it is advised to bring additional funds for a customary tip contribution for the local staff, as well as other incidental expenses, drinks, etc.

Terms and Conditions

All Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice. This Explore 2026 FAM Trip is available to all Canada and U.S. travel advisors. The FAM includes all accommodation, most meals, transport, and a dedicated tour leader. Advisors will need to book and pay for their own flights to participate. All other expenses including travel insurance, visas, additional meals & food, and entrance fees not stated in the itinerary will also be at the cost to the advisor. FAM accommodations will be a mixture of twin-share and solo rooms for all attendees. Participants agree to take and share a minimum of 3 photos and/or videos during the Trip on their social media channels, tagging or otherwise referencing Explore Worldwide.

 Registration closes April 1st 2026. Advisors will be selected and announced by April 7th 2026. Selected advisors must confirm attendance by April 17th 2026, or risk losing their position on the trip. Selected advisors must make their final payment and booking by April 24th 2026. FAM trip will run June 7th – June 13th 2026 (6 nights / 7 days).
